Such an exciting day!

And I just have to tell someone before I burst! A little girl in DS#1's class is being adopted today! Her foster parents have been trying to adopt her since they first started caring for her - when she was 2. She is now 8 1/2. It will actually happen today and we have been invited to witness it. HAPPY DAY!

That is AWESOME!! I am so glad they stuck with it and did not give up due to the red tape they undoubtedly had to go through. What a happy day indeed - for everyone involved. Thanks for sharing!

My older brother was adopted, I am a huge fan of adoption. Congrats to the little girl and her family, and so awesome that you are able to be there and share in the event!
