Sweet! This is awesome. I was always wondering what kind of job I could get for being strangely adept at finding randomness on the internet! LOL Thanks! I'm signing up now. :)

Which job did you get at ChaCha Amy? I was an expiditer 2 years ago, and I hated it. I kept getting personal pornographic questions. :?

"Friendly attitude, desire to help people, and a sense of humor. Fast typing and quick thinking are a definite plus!"

I have neither a friendly attitude nor a desire to help people. I also have no sense of humor, and my thinking is quite slow. I do type very fast, however. You think that's good enough?

LOL! I hope not. I got expediter as well; so far its fun. I just took my test, so hopefully I passed. I figured its something to do and if I make anything at it then its just more for my scrappy fund! :)

Yes I got paid using the ChaCha debit card. I only did it for a couple months for Christmas money.

I did get some super funny questions, I had them written down somewhere, I'll have to look for them.

Like I said, it was a couple years ago, so things could have changed by now. At that time you could ask ChaCha anything about everything. For people who answered the questions sent to them by expediters, you could opt out of porn/explicit questions, but for expediters themselves, that was not an option. They also expected the expediters to answer a lot of things themselves, especially when they came up with the 'quick answers' system. Quick Answers was for frequently asked questions. If it had been asked before you were automatically presented with the previous given answers to chose from. I didn't have a problem with that on principle, but that also meant that I was automatically presented with the answers for porn/explicit subjects.

One thing I can say....I certainly 'learned' a lot of things I could have died happily without knowing. :?

It does sound interesting, but I'm not so sure I would want to deal with some of the questions!!!

I think I'm an expiditer? I haven't gotten any crazy questions yet. I also think you can have the pay deposited into your bank account now.

I actually disagree. It all depends how you look at it. Quite often I see you respond to questions on here. I see that as a desire to help people, just because it may not be what they want to hear, doesn't mean it can't be helpful. As far as a friendly attitude, it's easy on the internet, just make sure to always put a smiley face after your advice (see below). A sense of humor is actually a strong point for you, almost everytime I read your posts I laugh, just because it's slightly dark doesn't mean it's not funny. You could improve your typing speed however, I mean ugh, you typed this yesterday and I'm just now getting to read it. :-D

I was actually joking. My mind is a steel trap, I'm the funniest person I know, and everyone loves me. I mean, just today, I was surrounded by a group of strangers in the park, and they were all chanting, "LESLIE! LESLIE!" But as far as a desire to help people... I only like helping people when I'm lavished with praise and thanks.

Expediters get the questions in raw format and have to retype them in proper English and classify them to be sent on to the people answering the questions. There were many things expediters had to answer themselves when I did it through quick answers, but anything that needed research was sent on to someone else.

They weren't chanting so someone would string you up, were they? I need to check these things. What would we do without you????
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
