The child living next door to you is being horribly abused on a daily basis by both of his parents. The only way to completely and totally stop the abuse is to adopt the child and care for him in your home. Would you?

ugh, what a crappy situation. I'd have to say yes, but I wouldnt be happy about it

Of course, if there was no other way. I'm past my childrearing age, but I couldn't let the abuse continue.
