I know I don't get too personal here on the message board but my husband and I have been married for 7 years and trying to get pregnant for about 5 years. After years of trying and giving up, getting a puppy, accepting the fact, we did it! It was a complete and total shock. I am 37 so they keep saying "high risk" but we are excited!
Any tips/advice is more than welcome!

Congratulations. Don't tell your family until you're at least 3 months. (being that it's "high risk") It will still be a surprise and you will be feeling pretty good by then. And they will think the pregnancy went really fast! lol

The only advice is to take all advice with a grain of salt. You will get a lot of unsolicited advice & much of it will be conflicting. Do what works for you & and your dh. Trust yourself.

My best advice......stock up on fresh ginger, to fight off morning sickness. I made a pot of boiling water and poured it over some fresh ginger I had cut up, and added some honey and let it sit the night over in the refrigerator, and took a glass or two each morning, or when I felt a little bit quizy, and that made it go away.
Two enjoy each little second, the time just flies so fast
