At least when snow melts - it usually drains away. Looks like that water is having a tough time draining fast enough. Yuk.

Yes we have had more rain already this year in Vegas than we did allll of last year! We're ok thank goodness just a wee bit damp in the garage. It didn't rain as much to day at they though which is a blessing because now it has time to go down!

OMGoodness!! I lived in Vegas and it did that once while I was there. July of 1999, I believe. It was completely insane. Some of my neighbors had waterfalls coming into their apartments! I was lucky that I had no leaks.

It has been crazy rains here too & mudslides. But today is cold yet nice, the air feels so fresh & everything is looking so clean & green. I love that after a few heavy rains.

I'm right here in Vegas with you and I'll join you in offering up that trade. At least snow would give us some good photo ops! We have our phone service through the cable company and the last two times it has rained, our phones either ring busy or actually connect but with overwhelming static. We called for repairs, but that didn't change anything. And we won't even talk about what 3 large dogs (with big paws!) can do when you combine a pet door, rain, and tile floors.......... I've given up keeping the floors clean. I'll wash 'em Thursday when rain disappears from our forecast for a few days........ But, much as we hate it, it's a bit of comfort to think about how much this area has needed rain. Maybe the water rates will go down???? (LOL, I wish).
