Can't get the smile off my face

I am one proud mom!!!!! As I have told you in the past few weeks as Emily gets ready for her senior year big things have been happening for her. She is going to spend most of the summer in Australia, she made the yearbook staff and the show chorus and now.......an announcement I thought I would never be making.......
are you ready???????
She tried out for cheer leading for the first time in her life....and made the Varsity Squad!!!!!!! She is so happy!!!!!!! and
Paul has a promise ring for her for their 1 year anniversary on Monday.

WOW! So much excitement all at once. You have a a right to be a proud mom. You are finally getting your rewards; after all the years of raising her and loving her, diaper changing, bubble gum in her hair, sitting up all night when she was a sick baby, crying with her the first time her heart was broken, wanting to strangle her when she did something stupid, surviving driving lessons, teaching her right from wrong, doing without for yourself so she could have more. All of it has finally paid off. You get the bragging rights reward.
I'm very happy for both her and you!

Wow lots going on for Emily this coming year. My ds gave his g/f a promise ring their senior year too. 6 yrs. later I'm still waiting for him to propose.
