have you ever stayed in a hotel--just for the heck of it?

Me and dh are heading to a hotel for the night Saturday---just to get away. It is a normally expensive hotel suite and I got it really really cheap so we decided we owed ourselves a night.

Yes, and had a wonderful time. I don't remember the guys name, just kidding. When we were dating, DH & I stayed at a hotel in Savannah, which is about 30 miles from our house.

YES! Just 20 min away from us, some of the hotels run weekend specials, one price for dinner/breakfast and a room. We have done it with other couples many times. Especially during hard times when we felt like we just needed a break. Close enough to home but still feel like you are away. Enjoy it!

Yep...but haven't done this for a while. Thinking I might make reservations in Sept. for my honey's b'day somewhere special...Don Cesar perhaps?

Yes, especially in the winter just to get away from home. It's like a mini vacation.
