PSA for Firefox users
Some of you may have already figured this out, but Firefox and I have been fighting for the last week about how to go about posting a photo in my thread replies. I think it was when Brandon updated the forums, or when I updated my Firefox to the latest version last week...not sure.

Anyway, I figured out that when I post the thread, and go to link OR add a photo, where it asks for the URL address of whatever I'm pasting, if you click on it to see the cursor, instead of just having your arrow over the box, you will always get two http:// at the front of your pasted address...which give you a red X or an empty box when you're finished.

If you just hit paste over that box with the http://, you should have a correct link or picture in your thread response!

If this makes you go, "Well, duh, Laura", just ignore it. But it was an a-ha moment for me. I don't have those very often, so I have to take them when I can! :-D

Weird I've used Firefox for years and never had an issue, but glad you got it figured out!

Laura i was having trouble too since brandon updated. That is why during the crop i had to lay low because any games that had anything to do with copy and pasting images i could not do...

But brandon told me how to copy the address of the image...
Using a regular PC highlight the picture and right click on the picture which will give you a drop down menu... select properties... then copy the address shown... go back to the post a reply window and click on the insert image button on the toolbar (15th button from the left) paste in the box that will pop up. and that should make it work...

If you are using a mac (which is what i have) since we don't have a right button you hold down the control key as you click on the highlighted picture and select the copy image address then you just do the same as above click on the insert image button and paste the address into the box!

hope that helps anyone that is having firefox issues...

I was having that problem too and figured out that the http: was in there twice; it's those little things that are so darn frustrating.

Yep Beatriz, that is exactly right! I was hitting the box after I clicked on the picture link, which would always give me two of the http://

I banged my head on my keyboard so many times during the crop, ended up going back to the ever so slow IE because of this issue. Thanks!! :-D
