The Ending to a Perfect day...

 and then reality came and smashed my positive attitude right out the window. 
It started out good...I woke up, and that's always a gift from God.  Had my coffee..checked the boards, woke up my children, and off to work I went, thankful that I still have a job.  And well, some of the coworkers aren't in their prime positive moods, and I have to deal with PMS, and it's not me, all day long.  Deal with the drama that only women that work in factories can give...and then there's the hour employee meeting, that I succeeded in not falling asleep in, which impressed me, cuz when I sit down for a period of time..i'm out.  No questions asked.

Well, I come home with my positive attitude intact...and DH had made dinner, so I started laundry.  Then I go to eat dinner, laughin and joking with the family...when something on the news catches my attention...so I hit rewind..yup, I heard right...

GM is going to shut down for 2 months this summer. Panic starts to set in, as I work for a tier1 supplier for GM.  And one half of me is ok with this, because i'm thinking...hmmm I don't have to work in a hot factory...I don't have to wake up at 4am....I CAN SCRAPBOOK!!!!  And then...reality comes up and pops the damn bubble....9 weeks with half my pay....hmm..what to do...

And then...right now...as you're reading this...THE BUBBLE FIXED ITSELF!!  And I think "what the hell, I get 9 weeks off..I have enough time to save as much as possible....the pro's far outreach the cons...so I'm not gonna stress out...i'm gonna work my behind off, and save as much money as I possibly can...so I can sit at this message board everday and chat with you wonderful people...then I can scrapbook as much as I want...and I can spring clean my house without having to rush to get it done in 2 days....the possiblities are endless.  I just can't buy any supplies, I am now forced (Thank God) to use what I have (which is more than enough).

I will be ok.  : )

So..now that I have no reason to be stressed, let me take this chance to Thank you all for letting me rant, and get this off my chest...lol.  You're cheaper than a Psychiatrist!

 I am glad you are looking at the positive!  With the economy, we have tried to cut back on a lot of extras yet still have family fun.  It sounds like you know how to handle this!
