 I was chatting with her last night and she was whining about the sunburn she got at the beach yesterday...poor baby ! I know a sunburn is painful, but I was a little jealous that she got to spend the day at the beach while I was working, LOL

Then, she tells me she's most worried about it because she's going to be outside today too! I THOUGHT she had classes today, but she tells me she's going to HIPPIE HILL for the celebration in the park today. When I was a little nervous, she said, "MOM! I don't smoke...you know that! But I have to go see what happens there...it's like a national holiday in San Francisco!"

This is what I get for sending my kid to college in liberalville!

Naw, Bob was born in February.  I think the origins are somewhat unknown, except that the DAY comes from the TIME 4:20, when kids used to be dismissed from school and would have a "smoke break".

 Useless info:  Do you know why they call it "pot"?  Because, way back in the roaring twenties before it was illegal, pot was served at parties in little "pots" at your place setting or around the room (like we do candy).  Marijuanna has been around for a lot longer than me and I am 58, prime hippie age.
