 Do you have a will? Have you updated it recently?




I have one but dh does not...it is on out to do list for very very soon. Mine had to be updated for work purposes recently... I am actually glad they offer all of us this "benefit" yearly along with our regular health benefits and such. It is always a good reminder to have everything in check

 I do, but it needs to be updated. My husband does not, guess we should get on that as well.

 No but we need one. My dh and I have only been married for a year and a half.

We don't.  We should and its on our list but one day if its not taken care of...it will be too late.

DH's dad passed away last March and he didn't have a will.  DH and his sister and brother are still hashing out stuff because he didn't have a will.

 No because I don't have anything that anyone would want if I died.  I doubt people are gonna fight that much over the 500 bucks I have in my account at the moment.

 No, but we really should.  Maybe this little reminder will kick my butt into gear.  We also need to take care of the paperwork for the guardians we chose for our son.  Of course, it took us this long just to talk to the wonderful people we chose (we spoke to them over Christmas) and he's ONLY 2.5 right?  (insert frustrated sarcasm here).  I need to get that paperwork done yesterday! At least our parents know our plans.

 Unfortunately, no... don't have a will.  But BF and I were discussing those that (along with living wills) just a few weeks ago.  We know it's something we need to, but we always put it off...

 My will was updated a year ago.  (Nothing's changed since then)
WE also have durable power of attorney for medical care.

Then we were advised to have power of attorney for each other for financial issues.   Because we are not married, if something were to happen to either of us (coma or something) no one would be able to access our assets to pay our bills.   We took care of this.

 I have one, had it drawn up 20 years ago when my son was an infantt, leaving everything to him, and have not changed it since.

 I don't have one but I guess having a house it wouldn't be a bad idea huh.

 Yes, we have them.  DD is a lawyer and I worked in the legal profession for 35 years, so I did them myself.

 No I don't. But I don't really own too much at the moment. Once I get a house, I will prob do a will to go along wiht it. But all my investments have my parents as beneficiaries, so that's covered at least.

 yes, we have a will, but it is very simple. We wrote it a few years ago when we flew out of state and left the kids with my mom. Basically, we wanted the kids covered. Since then, we have moved states, so I think we really need to update it according to the laws of this state.

 Yes we have wills. We have not updates since the early 90's. We should have some work done on it.

 Dh has one but I do not. I know I should but I've just never gotten around to it. Dh has to have one with the military when he deploys.

 no we don't.  when my sister passed away last month she didn't either.  and her dh was totally lost on what to do, where to look, etc.  i'm on dh's case now that we get stuff in order cause ya never know.
