How do they keep warm??? THEY have winter clothes, heaters...all kinds of stuff. Our "winters" aren't worth investing in stuff like that. I was freezing most of the day today also but loving it.....it's gonna be hot next week......lol

Stop your whining! You haven't had cold until it's -20 with a -40 wind chill. Loooooove MN! Kidding (though I do hate MN).
Wear shoes and socks all day (keeps my feet warm) and we live and die by polar fleece blankets here. We have at least 8 between the four of us...even the dog has one.

Sounds like a good day for hot chocolate, spiced cider, tea, coffee...
I actually have these microwavable "warmers" that are AWESOME! Of course, you would have no need for them in Florida, but we keep our winter thermostat set to 60 degrees at night/workday and 66 degrees when we're home. FRRRRREEZES me out!!!

It was a high of 35 here today and it was sooo much fun working outside in that weather all day long. I think I had five layers of cloths on.

I am so ready to migrate. I know it's nothing like up north and out west where we are, but it's super cold to me!
It was brutal here today!! If it wasn't cold enough...add the wind. BRRRR
We have slippers and wear them all day long. That keeps our feetsies pretty warm...which keeps the rest of me warm.

It has been very cold here. I have been dressing in many layers for work.
Wow! That's colder than here! It's still 51 now (10 pm).
Anyway, I have fuzzy socks and a bathrobe! dh likes the cold, so we usu. have the heat set to 64-65 in here. And if you're not moving around it can get a little chilly.

i love cooler weather, not the 80+ degrees here,
but am glad we might be gettin' some rain next
week before Thanksgiving... just not the same
baking for hours in the heat, ya know? it's ugh!
as for keeping warm, i love fleece too, so soft
and cozy, but most of the time it is my hands
that get cold while on the 'puter, so if you are
like me, you'd love those fingerless gloves too!

I'm with you, I'm freezing this morning. It's been so long since I've been up north during the winter, that I can't truly appreciate how "warm" it actually is here in Florida compared to up north.
