Do you prefer shower gel or bar soap?????


I am a shower gel kinda girl( the good sme;;y stuff too) but dh wont touch it- he has to have a good old bar of zest or Irish spring--- I hate the mess it makes in my shower buit he wont switch. He says shower gel is a female only thing-- is he right????

I prefer Bath & Body Works gel- the pineapple or black vanilla raspberry are my faves!

 I think it may be a girl thing as my dh uses bar soap too, as does my ds. I and his g/f use gel soap.

 Shower gel but one of the stores down on the Sponge Docks here sell the most wonderful rosemary citrus olive oil bar soap you can ever imagine.  (It comes in lots of other 'flavors' too).

bar soap...kids with allergies, so no extra fragrance

 SHower gel here also!  Dh has to be totally desparate to you the shower gel also.  We make our soap so if I have to use a bar I don't mind quite as much but still prefer the gel.

We use bar soap - easy & cheap.  However, I STOCKPILE shower gel b/c I like the smell of it & always think I will use it!

 Shower gel for me!  DH likes the bar soaps too, but I have bought him the zest, and those masculine soap gels things, and he is getting used to them..

 I'll use both. DH likes his Axe shower gel, so your DH is wrong, lol. Unless my DH is metro, lol.

 I use shower gel. Dh *used* to use bar soap, Irish Spring was his scent of choice. A while back I saw Irish Spring Shower gel so I bought it for him and put it in his shower. He started using it and now that is all he uses. He *used* to think that shower gels were just for girls.

 I use shower gel, I like the nice smelly ones.  My dh uses shower gel too but only the manly ones. He used to use bar soap until I moved in and convienced him that certain gels have more moisture and he skin wouldn't itch in the winter.

 Most of the time I use gel...but ever now and then I switch to Dove/Caress bars.

 I LOVE shower gel! I do keep bar soap in the house for the kids.
