When Kitchen Utensils Attack

Post by koala1966 »

Seriously. I'm over here trying to cook and I dropped a knife, point down, on my foot. Luckily I had slipper socks on, so just two little punctures in my toes. Ouch. Although DH did come running when I yelled, good to know I have some protection. 10 minutes later - dropped the scissors. This time I managed to jump out of the way. It's a shame I'm not more surprised. The kitchen is always a dangerous place for me. On the plus side, I had every single ingredient I needed for the recipe I was making - that almost never happens.

Yep, a few toes missing won't hurt the scrapping!!
But...if there is pain you may not be up to it so try and be careful!

Remember: Don't try to sample the batter when the KitchenAid mixer is ON!

Put down the sharp items and never go back in the kitchen again!! Image

Make sure the mixer is off before you put in the beaters.

Heck, better make sure it is unplugged!!!

That's a good reason why I stay out of the kitchen! Too dangerous!

I think that is the perfect excuse to tell DH that he needs to cook from now on. You could seriously hurt yourself in there!!!! Does he want blood in his supper???? Or worse yet, bandaids :-)

Also, remember that mascara contains wax. Wax melts when you open a 400 degree oven with your face down in front of it.

Be careful!
