We have some really nice resorts here in town that we should take advantage of too!

Nope not just for the heck of it but we did stay at one about a mile from our house a year or so ago while having popcorn ceilings removed. We could have camped out in the garage or the neighbors guest room, but chose to stay at the hotel. Kind of weird being almost in your own backyard at a hotel.

Nooooo, we don't really have the money to do it. Or, I guess I should say we choose not to spend it on that with money being tighter these days. That's what I'm trying to learn to say instead.

But, we travel a lot with ds and spend a lot of nights in a hotel anyway so they aren't as much fun as they used to be, you know?

Nope. I live on an island with two hotels, and neither one is anything special. There is also a place to stay called a lodge - but no view. There are several B&B's that might be kind of fun to spend the night at, though.

I wish. I am always telling dh that we need to leave our dd with my parents and just go to a Bed & Breakfast or Hotel for the night.

Yes I have! I often threaten dh that I am off to the Marriot because there is one just a few blocks away and when the kiddos are on my last ounce of nice....I just want to escape.

But a friend and I spent the night at a hotel for a fun girls night out. It was great to have a sleep-over! Haven't done that since college!
