I'll take her. I could use a baby sitter some days.4peasinourpod wrote:((((hugs)))) I can send you Delaney if you want
Congrats to your baby. The empty nest crap really kicks in when they go away to college and you only get to see them at holidays...I know I experienced it the first time this year and it sucked.

I haven't been an active paper crafter for a while and want to get back in the swing of things!

I'm sorry it's hard for you. I've always lived by: "There are but two lasting bequests we can give our children. The first is roots. The last is wings." You've given her solid roots - you've done good. Now she'll take wing and begin her "adult" life. It never bothered me when each DS left home - guess I'm the odd one out here. It really won't take long until you and DH start enjoying the freedom of it just being the two of you. Good Luck!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
Normal, normal, normal. And then you get used to it and......they come home again, and again, and again.

Congrats on her graduation and here's a {{BIG HUG}} for you. Hang in there mom, you can get through this.
I feel like I'm never going to get rid of mine... 6 years old and 21 months.
I lost both of my kids in one week...my oldest, rob, moved to Florida on a Wed. and on the following Sat. we took Kristen, my youngest, to college, four hours away. I was keeping the stock holders at Kleenex Corp. very happy.
I had a friend who says it goes like this when her twins went away to college
1. first visit home after dropping them off...oh such joy
2. Thanksgiving: yeah
3. Christmas: more laundry?
4. Spring Break: what? you're home again
5. Summer break: you better have a job!
lol

WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE
With DS gone (he's 18 now and living with some friends) I'm glad Z's still here :) And with her being 6... I've still got about a dozen years to go!
Trish ~ It's all fun and games until somebody loses an EYELET!
