So sorry to hear this. Please don't wait too long to call hospice, if you haven't done so already. Hospice is doing wonderfully in keeping Marv comfortable, and pain management is the biggest concern for his family. Don't wait to the end to call Hospice, as I have had friends who have been in Hospice care for several years. They come when you need them to and provide great comfort and care to the caregivers.

Again, sorry for the diagnosis. You and your family are in my prayers. I pray the pain management is good and you have quality time together.

Oh, Kara - I'm so sorry! Is she in Hospice care? They eased my Dad's pain a lot in the day he was there before he died.

thank you so much ladies. I have no idea of time, only because we will not find out if it has spread to the brain, if not it should not be really fast. I am thankful for the time I have had, and will try and cherish every minute possible with her. My poor mom. First her 16 yo son, then my dad, then a dear friend, and now my aunt. They are the only 2 left of their family, but life has been good to them, they say and I hope to keep that momentum going as far as good memories filled with love!!! Thank you all for the love and support, I am sure I will be needing it again....

For those that asked, She is not in hospice yet, the doc said it is not quite time. We used them with dad so I will be using them, they are such wonderfull people!

Several people (family members and friends) of mine have just been diagnosed with forms of cancer, some are under going treatment, two have already passed, and two have been diagnosed with stage 4 Incurable. Not to mention family & friends I have lost in the past few years to cancer.. Cancer sucks!
