I am so sorry I read your post so late. The tooth fairy is my cousin, I could of told you her name but you got all the information correct. LOL

My son has done something similar. He had a loose tooth and was eating taffy. While we were running across the parking lot to our car, it fell out! I was so upset! I looked for 45 minutes, but I couldn't find it. I should have gone in the store and ask for a broom. Every little rock on the pavement look like his tooth. He was upset that the tooth fairy wouldn't leave him money, so I told him to write a note. Here is what he wrote
Im sorry I lost my toth in the parking lote. It is not my fault will you giv mony still and visit me
He put it under his pillow. I put the money under this pillow and answered yes with a big red heart.
I will keep that card forever!

I told my son that the tooth fairy gives his baby teeth to the new babies. We had a friend who's baby was teething..so I told him that's where his teeth goes. It recycles like when he had to do a project at school. That's after he cried that he wanted his tooth back.
