I got bit by a brown recluse on the posterior in college and now have one dimple where once there was none! And those are nasty spiders. Hope yours was the common garden variety!

If you think it is a spider bite call your doctor. A friend was bitten by a spider and tried doctoring it herself. She finally went to a doctor after about six weeks and had to have surgery. Nothing major but the infection need to be cut out and she needed to take meds for a few days

Ya'll crack me up! If it's not better this morning, I would definitely check with your doctor because spider bites can be quite serious. My uncle was bit by one and had to have it cut out because of the infection.

I got bit by something a few weeks ago on my side, I think it was a spider but DH thinks it was an ant, either way it swelled up and got infected so he had to lance it to drain the poison and then I applied Neosporin for a few days.

I'm happy to report that my a$$ is on the mend. I went ahead and went to see a doctor this morning. He said it was some sort of bite but that it wasn't serious.
