I don't even remember for sure what it was, I want to say a Ford Tempo, not sure on the year. My dh's grandpa used to buy junker cars and then just fix them up just enough to run. They gave us one for our wedding present. It didn't last very long!

1st car I owned was a 1974 brown (ugly orangey brown) Ford Pinto..... I bought it in 1986 and ran it until I gave it to my niece in 1990 ~ she ran it another year before giving it away~

I just finished my sophomore year in college. My grandmother was furious with my father for buying my brother a Camero before he even turned 16 so my grandmother gave me $2000 to buy a car. I told her I needed a pick up, she didn't listen and my then boyfriend found a really nice Mustang II with 28,000 miles that was four years old. Went back to school that fall with horses and Mom's Toyota PU. She had my car.
After that it was always 1/2 ton pick ups for this cowgirl. Both DH and I had PU's until the kids came along. Both our kids now have PU's along with DH and I have an Xterra affectionately known as the rabbit car for rabbit shows. Yep, we have a rabbitry too!
