 They arrested him.

He has a very long record that dates back to 1989 including 5 counts of armed robbery, grand larceny, weapon violations, assault and battery of a 72 year old, assault and battery with intent to kill, etc. If the justice system wasn't so forgiving of serious criminals he would actually still be in jail (until 2012) and this would have never happened... or maybe if repeat offenders that have obviously not learned their lesson were kept in jail!!! Let's put the pot smoker in jail and free the murderer......

You wouldn't believe how busy this area is. It is a shopping center with 2 grocery stores, Books a Million, Starbucks, etc.

I still can't understand why he felt the need to kill her. His ugly mug was right there in the camera, so it wasn't like she was the only way to identify him. From what I have read she was an amazing woman. She was very into her church, community, and has a son.

Thanks for the good thoughts for me... I do feel lucky to have not been there, but I wish she was lucky, too.

 I believe in fate, or heavenly intervention.  My Mom would say that your Guardian Angel was with you today.  I'm so glad you are ok.  My prayers go out to that poor woman's family.
