Re: Question of the day 12/15
I have a star this year. I've had the same Angel for years and she was starting to look worse for the wear....so she got retired to the Angel Dept. (I have other angels on display). Last year, we got a swank LED star that now graces the top of the tree.
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!

Re: Question of the day 12/15
We currently have an Angel, and have had the same one for quite a few years now. My mom picked it up one year. Previous to that we had something that wasn't a star or angel, it was long and glass and kinda looked like a tree ornament. Wasn't very nice, which is why mom mom got the angel! haha!

I used to have a really pretty angel, but I have no idea where it is. Lost in a box in my cellar somewhere. We have a star on our tree this year.

We have a star that lights up... I'm not much of an angel kind of gal.
Re: Question of the day 12/15
So me and my husband have very different ideas about how our tree should be decorated! He wants an angel on top, i want a bow on top with sprigy things coming out so we compromise with a star. Well we have two stars because he dosent like the one i like and i dont like the one he likes so every other year we put up our star that we like. Confusing huh?!

Growing up it always had a star topper that lit up. As an adult I've always preferred a bow. This year...I actually have both because I wanted the bow and DH wanted the blinky star topper. Doesn't look to bad but if I had my way the start would go.

We have an angel given to us by a close friend of the family.
Re: Question of the day 12/15
We have a frosty star which works well with my mostly winter theme main tree. I both it a few years ago. My 8 yo dd has an old fashioned wood & metal angel on her smaller tree that was given to her by her great-grandma (dh's grandma) a few months before she passed away. That has special meaning to my dd.

I have a red and green felt star. Nothing special about it just he one I liked the best when I needed a topper.

I have a pretty little glittered star for the top of my tree. My mom has this fancy angel she puts on her tree but I like stars

Re: Question of the day 12/15
We always put an angel on our tree. My parents have always had a small angel that he wings and head move. Most beautiful one I've seen. I've been looking one just like it for our tree.. but no such luck. They make angels that move.. just not ones for tree toppers. It just always looks so show'y' on the tree and anything else looks weird to me!

I have a Marvin the Martian tree topper (unusual, huh?) and I have hung a star trek enterprise ship on the tree before.

We have an angel that we got the first Christmas after we were married 42 years ago. It's really ugly but I just can't replace it.

Re: Question of the day 12/15
A big bow to match the streamers that cascade down the tree from the top. Unfortunately, we bought a new tree that is a foot or two higher than the old so the streamers no long cascade as far as they use to. Will be looking into new ribbon for next year.
