 When i first looked at the pictures I thought wild boar. I am sorry to say it was a poor dog who got out to far or fell off a boat.

 I'm with Nene on this one.  When I clicked the link to see pics, first thing that came to mind was a wild  (male) boar.

If you scroll down from the link that DaisyLou gave us there is some evidence that explains that it is a raccoon.  You can see the similiarities when you see the skull one.  Interesting!

 I watched an interview with Jeff Corwin on this find.  He believes it to to to be a mammal and he mentioned a couple possible creatures the ones I remember are a raccoon or a dog.  He said although the face looks like it has a beak, its not a beak but decomposition.  No matter what it is I hope someone gently removes it and buries it.  Its so very sad to see it lie there on exhibition.

 I did some looking and here is a racoon skull..... it sure looks like that is what it is!

What do you guys think? (The upper canines have obviously been broken off on the animal carcass)

 Ummm looks like a chupacabra (don't know if I spelled that right - you know that mythical Mexican monster that eats up children who stay out late at night . . .)

Okay - don't flame me for being insensitive.  I, too, hope that it wasn't someone's dog that got out too far and drowned.  I actually think it looks like a racoon.  Hard to tell without knowing exactly how long it is.
