White lights or Colored lights?

We have a mix. Our main Christmas tree is colored and the 2 smaller trees in the grandkids' rooms are colored. I have white lights on the tree in the dining room. I prefer the pretty white ones but the kids like the colored ones. Outside I think the lights are a mix too, but I forget since we haven't decorated yet.

I like white lights, DH likes colored ones. So we use white lights around the archways and in the dining room display, and the tree is a mix but on separate circuits so we can choose which way to light the tree that day! I haven't decorated outside with lights in years....I didn't have anyone to do it for me and now our house is just too dang tall. But we wrapped colored lights around the porch railings last year and that looked really nice.
