What's For Supper Tonight?

Post by Charleneanne »

Kim's talking about starting a Pot of stew made me wonder if we all have switched to cool weather comfort food now.  We are having pork chops and real Mac n cheese baked in the oven.
So what is everybody else fixing/having today?

Tacos for us!
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

I found a pasta receipe on the back of the mini pepperoni package. It sounds really good, but it is a cold salad. That's OK by me since it's just DH and I home for dinner tonight anyway.

Leftover homemade chicken and broccoli alfredo. We always make a big batch, so it lasts for two meals.

Tonight we're having philly cheese steak with fresh mushrooms, onions and roast beef on a toasted roll with cheese broiled on top.

Tomorrow is chicken cutlets with chicken flavored rice, spinach.

Thursday is chicken fried steak, mashed potato, corn and sliced tomatoes.
I may make some clam chowder on Friday. (New England)

I made creamed potatoes with ham and cut green beans, for desert we will be having a carrot cake that I made earlier today.  Creamed potatoes are something I have grown up with, new to my husband though.

It was supposed to be tacos but meat wasn't thawed. So now making chili dogs! We've switched to hot meals and slow cooker dinners.

I had barbeque pork chops from the crockpot with a baked potato and peas.  Plus I had enough leftover to pack a lunch for tomorrow.

OH darn, Chris. How long do you have to do the clears? Hope not long, at least maybe some full liquids and have some creamy yummy soup or chowder!
