Sher, relax and scrap, you'll be safe. Keep shdes closed amd tape to keep a blow in shattering should you get a huge wind gust. But honestly the wind isn't all that bad as far inland as you are.

I know you dealt with the devastation last year and my heart truly goes out to you with the memories, as they are mine with Ike.It won't happen with this one.

But do the bathtub thing is a good idea from Bibi!

I am GLAD that you are OK Sher! I popped on and off the weather channel last night to see what was happening. Definitely scary!
It is so crazy ! I know it is supposed to stall out and continue with rain, i hope that it leaves soon!

Oh, Sher, it's so good to see everyone check in. I'm delighted your ok, especially with the news I heard about Harrisburg last night! I was a little more worried about you being in a third floor apartment since as you rise in elevation the speed of wind goes up significantly. I well remember the amount of glass on the ground in downtown Houston after Hurricane Alicia.

I'll repeat myself, I am so happy to see your safe!

So glad you are safe. We sometimes go out in a hurricane when it is between bands of bad weather. We like to watch the trees sway. But when it is bad, you have to be crazy to go out! Sometimes, the wind is so fast that it blows pine needles right through stuff! Serioulsy!
