Smiles: spent the day with my darling grandchildren playing playing playing.
Frowns: sad day in many other ways.

Smiles: Nice gray day, DH has the evening off so looking forward to seeing him, DD is doing a bit better after I kept her home to get some extra rest and fluids.

Frowns: not liking the changes that are most likely on the horizon

Smiles: Got 2 challenges done!

Frowns: Work has been super crazy. It was going well, as I was preparing the program for the new feature for my client. Then she tells me billing/payroll aren't working correctly for 2 out of her 7 locations. And I still haven't figured out what the problem is.

Then earlier, I saw the post about the CT leaving. Sad about it.

Smiles: Got about 8 more dinner tickets sold for a fundraiser dinner this Saturday night, so that is a huge relief. Now, need to sell at least 15 more so we go over 50 tickets. Went to the chiropractor this morning so my neck and shoulder feel better.

Frowns: My head is still all stuffed up and now I'm out of kleenex at the office and my nose hurts!

I keep saying that and one of my coworkers keeps telling me that!!Smiles: Countdown has begun!!! Smiles - 12 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful little monkey...and she has grown up to be a beautiful young lady!

Frowns - it's going to be -34c tonight!!!

smiles: It's my birthday and I spent a wonderful day with my hubby because he was off too. We went to WV last night and stayed overnight at a casino. Today I stopped at a local scrapbook store that I found there and they had really great things and somehow I managed to get out only spending $10.

frowns: just a little sad because no one in my family sent me a card. I got one from dh and one from an old friend in Illinois. I know I'm way beyond the age of feeling like this but it just makes me sad. My Dad hasn't called and I just don't feel like I should have to call him on my birthday.

UPDDATE: my Dad called so that was a nice ending to a wonderful day.......

So no frowns at all

Smiles: Had a really good day. Got my mamogram and dexi scan done. No resuts, yet. But my rish for getting breast cancer are 4.9% which is really low. Had lunch with my dh's niece, went to see my ex-son in law. Went to see my niece at her work which tickled her so much. It was the first time and she is a new dental assistant. Then I went to my office and asked my boss for a raise. Didn't get it, but at least I asked. WE had a good conversation. She is going to ask corporate and push for a raise for me, but she did say that they have not given any raises for several years. Today was my grandson's first birthday and we had a party for him tonight.

Frowns: None, my day was too full of smiles for there to be any room left for frowns: LOL

Smiles~ We now have groceries for another two weeks!! Yea! Gas in the truck, found some of my 3L scrapbooking tape runners for 70% off, a few
ink pads, ribbon, 12x12 papers, 12x12 soccer die cuts, and a few stickers at Walls!! Great day shopping wise.

Frowns~ My favorite online scrappy home feels somewhat sad today.
