School's OUT for Summer!

Today was the last day. Now, I just have to clean my classroom on Monday, and finish grading all the finals. Graduation is tomorrow night! Whew! I made it!

Weird...graduation is AFTER everyone else is done with school? Here, graduation was last night, but the seniors don't have to report any more, and the rest of the kids go thru next Friday. But.....congrats on making it thru another year, and enjoy your well deserved break!

Yes, we made up 5! We were supposed to get out the Thursday before Memorial Day. LOL! We start in the middle of August.

It's always that way. Seniors get finished a week earlier, so we have time to get their grades done. Speaking from experience making up a ton of snow days and having to come back after graduation in past years...it is really difficult to get underclassmen motivated to continue working and show up at school after graduation.

This way works out perfectly.

2 more weeks for us, June 17th. So looking forward to it, it'll be nice not to have to worry about nagging little man about homework
