Frowns: the snow is now forecast for Thursday, which is when my 23 staff from all over southern Illlinois are all supposed to be in Belleville for a meeting/lunch. That's what I get for trying to not cram their already-crazy December schedules with one more meeting/holiday potluck.

Smiles: Got our first renter's application today! They seem really nice, and if everything checks out, we'll have a renter by tomorrow. Also checking on moving our close date up, so things seem to be going in the right direction.
Frowns: I'm really nervous about being landlords. We've never done it, have no idea what we're doing, and hoping like heck that we don't get taken advantage of. We tend to be pretty trusting and people tend to walk all over us. I'm hoping that these young people will be good renters.
