Our big trips for just us, we make on the 5 years---5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, so our next big trip will be for our 30th.

Not really. For our 5th we took a long weekend and went to Toronto to see Phantom but haven't done anything since. We'll occasionally go out to dinner, but it's not necessarily on the actual date and sometimes we both forget it's even our anniversary... LOL!

DH is a musician and we have a running joke here that there are 3 days a year I KNOW he's gigging.

We try to celebrate it every year in different ways, and all have been amazing. For the 5th he took me to a hotel for the night in the colonial part of the island, it was quite fun!

We used to go away every year alone to a nice B&B or an Inn. My husband has been traveling a lot for work lately and didn't want to go anywhere. So the last 2 years for my gift (combined with my Christmas gift) he gave me a 3 day scrapbooking retreat and some supplies off my wishlist from my lss. This makes us both happy....yay, I leave on my retreat in 2 weeks yahoo!!!

Yes, we celebrate a little. We always seem to be broke that time of year, so usually it's just dinner out. On our 5th and 10th, we had our vows renewed (nothing big, just a little thing for us), but not sure if we will on our 15th (things have been a little rocky in our relationship lately...but it's almost a year and half away, so who knows).

We have more fun celebrating the anniversary of our first date by recreating it each year.... pizza and a movie and parking!!!

Since my DH's job demands no vacation time in the summer, we are not able to go away. We do acknowledge it, some more then others. And definitely the "big" ones. For our 10th he got me an anniversary ring, which I love! We are closing in on the 20th, I would love to plan something special for that one!

Not really, but we are always pretty nice to each other! This past year, we were in mid-renovation, so I think maybe it was a trip to the Home Depot together and a stop at the Chick Filet right near the Depot. We don't really care though, we're just happy to be happy after 20 years together! This year will be our 21yr dating anniversary (8/18/90!!) and our 19th wedding anniversary (8/22/92). Yeah, we mix up those dates all the time!!

Sorta. i don't expect gifts or anything unless it's a bigger anniversary, like the 5 year we just hit. but I do always expect to be taken out for dinner.
