They just opended a hobby lobby here in vegas, real close to my work!!! I've heard all of you go on about them for years and always wished we had one, now we do . yeah.

I'm sure you will love them. I like them so much better than Michaels. They carry a pretty good selection of embellishments and have great sales every week. They are one of my favorite craft stores to shop at.

Hobby Lobby isn'tmy favorite. I like their supply of embellishments but I don't generally like their paper. I much prefer heavier paper and most of HL paper is pretty lightweight. I do like their 40% Coupons though.

Congrats! You'll love it. Just never buy anything until it goes on sale - they always have sales. I agree with Nancy, the paper is thin, but I do enjoy taking advantage of the 50% off sales on paper packs. Our HL has a large selection and seems to keep up on the new packs.

The weekly sales is really what I love. Check their website each week to see what is 1/3-1/2 off! Plus there is a coupon too. Have fun!

I went to one in Texas in July and wasn't impressed with their scrapbooking section. I did see a few things that I'd never seen before, but overall it didn't do it for me. Maybe the rest of the store had some interesting crafts, but I didn't have time to go up and down each aisle. I'll try again at a different HL next time I'm near one.

You are going to be in Heaven. About once a month, their scrapbooking stuff goes on sale. 50% of stickers, embellies, rub-ons, kits, tools, adhesives, paper, etc...

Is Hobby Lobby like A.C. Moores? That is who we have around here and I get tired of going there because they only get new scrapbooking supplies twice a year. And usually it is last years products.

I totally agree if they had thicker paper I would like them a lot more!!

The funny thing.... one of the things I like less about Hobby Lobby than other stores are their hours. They close at 8pm rather than 9, and are closed on Sundays. I respect that they are trying to give a family day to their employees, but with my odd work hours, sometimes that little bit of a change makes a huge difference!
