My commute is almost an hour, so on most days I am out of the house for 11.5 hours. kinda sucks but I get compensated well and it is really nice to have every other Friday off to get things done (or scrap) I like my job ok. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. Oh and it is nice that I have flexible hours - for the first year I got in at about 6am and left around 4, but now I am getting into work around 9:30 and leaving around 6:30. I want to try to change that though and get up earlier. Oh and I wear jeans to work every day, it's really casual.
I used to do computer programming in my past life on the mainframe. They were just switching to more computer based when I left to have Emily. Do you have to do support too? That was the worst part of my job - the 2am calls about something being broken.
no thank god I don't have to do support. I would hate that!
