yes - my dad taught me how to when I was 12. Also, every year I change over all 4 tires to studded tires for the winter

Yes I would be able to. The lug nuts would be the hard part, they put those suckers on tight. Luckly I don't have to drive much unless we go out of town and then usually my husband or son are with me. That's what I have them for.
