 I never went to college. No one in my family ever went, until my niece who is in college right now. I have thought about going to college now and getting a degree in special education. But good grief I would be 50 before I was through. Then I wonder is it worth it? Sometimes I think it would be. I work with emotionally disturbed and autistic kids and I would love to be an autism consultant. It might happen one day, once the kids are grown and on their own.

Yes, it's worth it!  #1. As DH's grandfather said, nobody can take the knowledge away from you.  #2. You will have a great feeling of accomplishment to go along with that knowledge.

I went to St. Cloud State University for 2 years then transfered and graduated from Mankato State University in Minnesota. I graduated with a B.S. in Mass Communicationas and a minor degree in English.

Small world!  I am originally from a small nearby town and some classmates went to MSU!

 I started in Ardmore, OK going to Murray State College, got married moved to HI and finish up 3 years in 2 at Hawaii Pacific University.  I have my BSBA with a major in accounting.

 I went to the university of wisconsin oshkosh, earned a BFA in Graphic Communications with an emphasis in photography, and a minor in spanish. I returned to school in 2004 and just earned my associates in nursing and am working as an RN from Moraine Park Technical College - will be going back to school to earn my BSN, then my masters and onto my PhD in nursing. I don't know what schools yet for the higher education, still debating it.

Big handslap to you, Flappy!  Just because someone has a fancy degree, it doesn't mean they're smart!  Plenty of people never have the chance to go to college because life gets in the way.  You should be ashamed!
