 I've been feeling really down lately and crazy stressed out and feeling very disconnected from my family in Connecticut with my 30th coming up in a few days. I've been trying to get someone to go see Vagina Monologues with me for my birthday and everyone has backed out. So, today was an excellent day that I really needed....

I also got a box from my grandmother (who, if you didn't know, is my world and favorite person EVER) and it had some of her books and jewelry in it that she wants me to have. My grandmother is a former Professor who has taught at Yale, UCONN, Trinity College, etc, etc. She's an author and is also on the Board of Advisors for the Smithsonian. She's my idol and I want to be just like her when I grow up.  So that box meant a lot to me....

Then I got an email that my ACOT order for my birthday got shipped today!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

I drove my new van for the first time today. I haven't been able to drive it because of the broken foot and it was WONDERFUL!!!!

I also won 3 brand new Cricut cartridges on Ebay for less than $70!!!!

Then DH brought me home some Brie cheese and Wheat Thins (one of my favorite snacks)....

As Ice Cube would say, "Today was a good day..."
