My foster family..

 I just got a call from the Animal shelter......they FORGOT to give the momma kitties their rabies vaccine yesterday and now the vet won't be back until thursday to give them their shots . They don't release them until they have the shot (which, with a kid and 2 other cats, I wouldn't want a non-vaccinated kitty in the house). The lady said "You can pick them up SATURDAY!!" Saturday? Hello no! They close at 4 and I work until than, than have to get MAson off the bus, so she thought the first time I could come would be saturday. I'm going to ask if I can leave work early on thursday and go pick them up after she gets her shots.
Mason is going to be disappointed because this morning, he was jumping up and down with excitement saying "I can has kitten burgers?" (we have all kinds of LOL sayings in our house) He thinks we are getting them this evening (the lady was going to wait for us today, but she can't on thurs and friday!)
Waiting is the hardest part!

 uuggh, it's going to be FRIDAY before I get them!! The vet doesn't come until 2 on thursday and they close at 4 and I can't get there between those times, so it looks like friday at lunchtime will be the soonest I can get them!

 I'm going to call the rescue place and ask if they can get the kitties for me between 2 and 4 tomorrow and bring them to my house. I hope they can do that!

You sound like me...I get totally impatient with stuff like that!  I got my cat, Maddie, because I left work early (9+ years ago) and drove straight to the shelter near where I was living.  He was the cutest (and from the 2nd oldest litter).    He's my baby!


BTW - I've been checking the MB like a hawk lately to check up on the kitten news all week!
