when i was little we called my grandmother "nano".  i don't know where the name came from.  rumor has it we just mispronouced nana and it stuck.  so when my generation had our kids they called my mom "nano", too.  i am the third generation "nano" now.  :)  thank you!

 thank you everyone for the congrats!  with the birth, holiday stuff, MIL coming in town, etc. i haven't had a chance to get online til now.  but i wanted to be sure to say thank you for sharing in my excitement.  baby kayla and her mommy live with me and my dh.  needless to say, we are a tad thrilled to have a brand new baby in the house again.  she's just precious!

 Congrats! There is something about the name Kayla though! It is deemd the name  for stubborn & extremely smart little girls! I have a Kayla...Kayla Alexis....but as a nick name we call her Kayla May. LOL She is 18 1/2 yrs old!

Yes, it was my Grandma's middle name. She died 17 days after my first son was born. Never got to see him as they wintered in TX.
