 I'll be in for the whole year again.  I figure this is my 3rd year and 3 is a charm, so this year has got to be
better since the last 2 years my SS had to be replaced both times!!

 Can the digi-gals participate?  I mean I would love to do this but I am digi so my SS would have to shop from the digi store.  Can that be done anonymously? 

I'm obviously not the one who counts but I can see doing that.  Maybe just get a 3rd party to purchase a GC or whatever for you.  Hmm, can you purchase online GC's or are they all the in the mail type?  That would be the only hinderance.  Although even at that, you could just buy the 3rd party a supply of them. 

Another issue would be...with paper, if you get something you already have it's no big, but 2 of the same digi things is no good.  You'd have to make sure your wish list is kept updated...

 jjenni: if you are strictly digi, it won't be as much fun for you. The other party cannot purchase digi kits for you or  annonamously, the only thing you could get are either digi magazines or gift certificates. Possibily GC for places you can get stuff printed and stuff. SO it depends on if getting that every month is exciting enough for ya. I know for me I still do paper stuff once and awhile so I get paper stuff and once and a while a GC where I usually grab some digi stuff with.

 More newbie questions... does everyone send brand new things?  Are there handmade things (like border sets or cut titles) or things from your own stash that can be passed on?  I've done similar swaps with different groups and everyone has different expectations... me personally, I don't mind 'partials' of something someone else bought & will never use, but wouldn't want to send that to someone who would find it tacky!

One thing that I learned this year, and thought to pass on - If you are going to send things to me to forward to your secret sister....Please please please take the package to the post office and have them weigh the package and put one of the printed mail thingys on the corner where the stamp goes instead of all of the stamps (if at all possible....) There were several packages that didn't make it to their destination and got sent back to me because of some stamp problems....

You can't use the printed postage from the post office unless you plan to mail it that day.  Stamps are the only way to do this because of the way USPS tracks packages and statistics.   Not sure how to get the stamps on - but you can have the PO print you a no value postage label to add to the package before you mail it out.

 Okay, I have decided that I really want to do this!  I guess this just means its time for me to get my paper stash and stuff back out and get with it.  The last one I did with paper was my wedding album and I loved it, so its time for another one.  Add me to the list!  I will do a whole year!  Now to go add things to wishlist here that are paper!  lol

 Thinking about it.  It hasn't been a very good experience for me, but I may be willing to give it another try just because it's fun anyway.  I haven't heard from my SS very much (I understand she has had a rather trying year so it's understandable) and my other SS sometimes did not post a thank you so I don't know if she received the pkg.  Twice I sent them blindly hoping she hadn't moved and I'm about to do it again with my reveal pkg.

***ETA - Oops - should have checked the Nov. thank you thread first.  She recently posted so (Yayyyy!) I know she hasn't moved!

Heidi...I posted a thank you for every package I recieved.  Not sure what two times you are referring to.  Sorry If I made this a bad experience for you. As for November  It took me a week to post my thank you as my father was in the hospital and that was the last thing on my mind.  Sorry once again...hope you have better luck next year
