Re: The new holiday scam
If anything, the threat of charging $36/day from UPS is a give away. Seems to me that if a package wasn't picked up within a certain time limit, that UPS would just return it to the original sender.

It's not even United Postal Service anyway... it's United Parcel Service of America, Inc.
If it were regular mail, it would be USPS - United States Postal Service.  Yup, that one's a phish that easy to spot.

That and other scams were on the Oprah show Monday.  What people won't try, eh?

Re: The new holiday scam
This came thru our server here at work back in July and I actually mailed a package thru UPS in July and clicked on the message and got the virus - and so did other co-workers from different departments.

Believe me DO NOT OPEN this up.

Re: The new holiday scam
Ok, so it's a virus spreader.....

I thought from the title being "scam" that it was to cheat you out of money.  I was wondering how they were going to actually get any money out of you......

Haven't seen that one but hopefully the charge of $36 a day would alert anyone that might fall for it.
