I don't have my tree up and I just realized that I won't be putting it up this year. My sister and her family are going to Vietnam for two weeks and I"ll be living at their house taking care of the dog and cats. They leave Dec. 9 and don't get back until late on Dec. 24 so I won't bother at my house. She says that she'll put hers up before she leaves though so at least I'll get to enjoy a tree...and her cozy fireplace!

Are you kidding? I can't even think of Christmas deco yet...
I *heart* you, though, Renee.nene wrote:For the 1st time, we are going to put ours up the day after T-day. Depending on how I feel, we may start ON T-day. We usually wait until the 1st weekend in December.

I did just buy a fifth tree...but it is only 4 feet

We barely get ours up by Christmas most years. Vowing to do better this year. We're planning to have our annual holiday party again, so it's gotta be up by then. Helps to have some added pressure on getting the house to look [somewhat] nice.

The tree is up, but it hasn't been decorated yet. We are late this year. We usually have it up the week before thanksgiving. The yard is lit up though.
We're getting there slowly but surely.

Hi, we always wait until after Thanksgiving.. So, we will probably start putting stuff out this weekend..
We have a fake tree so it lends itself to going up any time.. when we use to do real, we would wait till mid December.

Ours is not up..maybe two weeks before Christmas it will be.
We do not have ours up yet. From 1974 until about 3 years ago, we went up into the woods and cut our own with our kids. But now it is just DH and I, so we go "cut" ours at the Home Depot and come home to decorate it together. And since it is a live tree, about 10 days before Christmas is our usual.

Mine won't go up until after Thanksgiving anyway, but I still haven't figured out where I'm going to put it. I have a spot... but I don't know if it's too narrow for my tree.
We only put ours up a couple of weeks before Christmas - live tree! DH helps get it set up, but then I kind of take it over because he puts the lights up and down instead of around (WTH??). Plus you have to put the ball ornaments just so, to get the maximum amount of light reflection.
Yeah. I'm anal about my tree!

Trish ~ It's all fun and games until somebody loses an EYELET!
when I was growing up we always put it up on my bday. Which I did for quite a fews years as an adult but now the kids see everyone else with decorations and well it goes up usually by Dec 10th.
I have one tree up. I still need to do my other tree. Almost all of the decorations are up, except the outside.
Not until after Thanksgiving.
