Halloween costumes?

 Amelia is going to be a pumpkin!  I am always calling her punkin, so it was only appropriate.

We will probably visit with people trick or treating, but not so much doing the trick or treating walk around thing because Amelia won't know what the heck is going on.  I mean she's just 4 months.  But I definitely bought her a costume, I wasn't missing this opportunity to dress her up!  She's too cute in it too!

We are kind of going with a theme this year.

DS#1 (7)~Knight
DS#2 (2)~Dragon
DS#3 (1 in two weeks)~Frog (I will add a prince crown)

Me~I usually don't dress up but will make a Queen crown
DH~I will make him wear a King's crown

I have heard of having T or Ting on a different day then Halloween actually is but never lived in a town where it happened. But usually I have heard it being moved to the weekend because the kiddos have to go to school the next day, but never from Friday to thursday that just seems pointless.. sorry.

For us Halloween this year falls on Nevada Day. Like Nevada independence day, last friday of the Oct. So the kids here have the day off from school on Halloween.

 I'll be sewing my dd's costume...apparently none of the costume stores have thought up a pink bunny!

 Even though I don't have kids, I got a Pottery Barn Kids catalog last week and OHMAGAHH--there are some CAYOOT costumes in it!!

My fave was the hamburger costume with the matching packet o' ketchup treat bag.

 That's funny, I didn't get the Pottery Barn catalog this time around...it's probably for the best.  That sounds so cute...little burger!

 DS (10) is gonna be a scary Biker Dude.
 DD #1 (8) will be a punk princess
 DD #2 (5) will be a pretty princess
 DD #3 (4) will be a pretty scarcrow.

All costumes bought at Walmart. I wish I could sew! All I can make well are pillows!

Last year my kids were Ketchup and Mustard... I made their costumes...


This year DS is going to be a Knight, and DD is going to be a dice (we are painting a box white and cutting black circles on my cricut...)!

My dd asked me why she is a princess every year to which I said, because every year when I ask you what you want to be it is always a princess. 

This year she wants to be Hermoine from Harry Potter.  I already have all of her costume except the necktie.
