Harassment????

Would you consider it sexual harassment if your husband's boss and even the boss's wife kept saying things and asking him about his "manhood"? Just wondering what your opinions were on this.

If it makes him feel uncomfortable, then for sure I would say yes. If he doesn't care and takes it as a joke or something, than I wouldn't take it as harrassment cuz he's in a way promoting them to get a laugh. If that makes sense.

If he has any question about it, ask him how they would take it if he asked about her vagina!

Especially knowing they are repeat offenders- he needs to do something about it asap.

I've actually been to training given by a government agency (NASA) on sexual harrassment. Yes, that is sexual harrassment. Even if he doesn't mind it, if they are doing it where anybody else can hear it, then it is sexual harrassment for them too!

We have to go through a Harassment refresher course at work every year & an online test with different scenes & we need to identify them. Maybe your dh's company would benefit from such a class too.

It sounds like harrassment to me. However, you have a hard time proving it - I would have him go to HR first and see what his options are.

Yes Lynette they are freaks and if my husband asked them about their "parts" I'm sure they would enjoy it. ((((GAG)))) They have asked him before in front of other workers too.

I think I would talk to the higher ups. If they do nothing, I would contact an attorney. They need to mind their own business. Maybe they'll get the picture with legal interference.
