Anyone watch ArmyWives?
The first episode of the season was really something.  I was confused at the end for a moment...can't believe she died!

I was confused as well.  They I was bawling, lol.  Especially when Claudia Joy woke up and the first thing she said was "Amanda's gone".

Re: Anyone watch ArmyWives?
I didn't watch this show last season, so Sunday's show was my 1st to watch.  I was tearing up at Roxy's hubby's video he left her.  I was confused about the woman (forgot name, but she is the radio host/narrator) and the woman whom she had guilt about...does that make sense?  I hope to catch this show each week.

Re: Anyone watch ArmyWives?
I LOVE Army Wives! This season's first episode is still almost haunting me. I keep thinking about her and how they led up to her death. I'm interested to see how the Claudia Joy and family deal with it. Emilynn seemed so angry in the scene with Denise....and Claudia Joy will, I'm sure, have so much guilt for stopping at the bar. Questionning everything that she could have done to change the outcome...as any parent who has lost a child would do. Tear herself up about it.

Even Dh has gotten hooked on it and was watching with me....he started crying when Amanda was on the table and her father was standing there. Then with the preview of next week, when he and Claudia Joy are arguing and he says "OUR daughter! We lost OUR daughter and there was Nothing I could do about it!" I heard my dh whimper. He's not much of a cryer. So I know it really got to him....

I can't wait for the rest of the season. Dh wants me to buy the first season on DVD. It comes out TODAY!!!

Re: Anyone watch ArmyWives?
 Shelley,

You can go to the website and watch episodes from last season to catch up. Pamela is the red-head talking on the radio. She's an army wife who works as a radio personality on post. She had guilt about Marilyn, who was cheating and who's husband blew up the bar. Marilyn came to her for help and Pamela feels she turned her away too quickly. They had a very poor relationship. They were not friends to say the least. Marilyn was very mean and nasty to Pamela and said some awful things about her.

I love this show.  it is one of the best!   I missed the last episode last season so I will have to go back and watch it.   I cried when Amanda died and I felt so sorry for the parents.  sometimes I feel like these actors are part of my family, i get so involved with them with all their ups and downs.  I guess that the reality of a great show, one that brings you in and makes you feel part of it.,Dear hubby said that he was not watching the show, but several times he asked me who was that and why did that happen, by the near end he was hooked.

I love Army Wives. I watched Sunday's episode twice and I think I cried both times even though I knew what was going to happen.
