Is there a place in the gallery to post? I have just been commenting through the board.

Helen, I'm glad Moody sucked you in!Beachlover, yes if you are looking at a layout, scroll to the bottom of the page and you can leave a comment. Hmm...maybe I should think this over.
On a molecular level, I'm very busy.
I try to catch all of the parts of the gallery - paper, digi, cards, etc. - because I like to be inspired by it all. I'm always amazed by what digi gals can do but, of course, I'm paper so I like to be inspired by those as well.I'm not as concerned about who posts on the MB, a lot of people aren't MB users, as I am about who leaves comments in the gallery in return. I don't even care if it's on my uploads or not, I like to see that they're not just uploading and running without saying anything at all. This is an active gallery and it doesn't seem fair to want attention without giving some kudos back in return. But, with that said, I try to give everyone the opportunity to respond in kind at least once or twice. Maybe they just know they are supposed to be nice?
This is a topic that we have had before....this is me... I try to leave comments for as many as I can, but lately, I find that the gallery is moving so fast.. So now...I start with those that I know from hanging around here first, and then the others. Sometimes, I just go into each girl's gallery and leave lovin like that. But....I am so guilty of not doing anything lately!
Yep we've had this discussion before. I call such people "Photobucketers," meaning they treat ACOT like their own version of Photobucket.
I love that we can now click on the name of someone who left us love and in turn leave them love. I always feel bummed (LOL) when they don't have any new layouts to coment on (uh hm...Mom... But I try really hard to leave comments for others who took their time to leave them for me. I also comment on layouts that catch my eye or if I see a newbie trying things out to support them. Everyone loves praise. Also I am gulity of not always getting to the other galleries other than digital, but when I do I am always amazed!
I would love to be able to leave praise for everyone. I guess you could say I'm selfish - I leave praise because it makes me feel good (LOL)! I feel awful that I've been so busy and haven't been able to leave as much love in the gallery.
I try, as a rule of thumb, to leave at least 10 pieces of praise for each layout that I upload. I don't always get to surf the net every night - sometimes it's weeks between my visits, so it might seem as though I don't leave a lot of praise. However, whenever I do visit, I always try to look at the most recent page of the gallery and leave a bit of praise.
thanks for the help Tracy, I found the comment section and left a little but there is SOOO much to give, so many talented scrappers here. Sometimes I get intimidated, but I am also inspired by all of you. I will try harder to be more vocal toward others. Also, thanks for all the praise that has been sent to my LO's, warms my heart. And, I almost entered Matt in the hottie contest, but thats my baby, what kinda momma would I be?

I've been trying to leave praise on every LO, but, since the crop, I've gotten behind. Wish I had more hours to play cuz I really want to get into the digi gallery. Those gals are awesome too!! (even tho I am still intimidated by digi)

i post for everyone. I usually don't pay attention to the name until after i post my comment
Wow! Post and Runner checking in here! (kinda harsh don't yah think?) I don't do scrapping message boards much even though I do scrap. I played along with a couple of the challenges last month and received some comments. I also left some comments. I am grateful for those individuals who left comments on the two challenges I played along with. I did not realize that it was a courtesy to make return comments on those individual's work who made comnments on my layouts, now I know and if I decide to play along with a challenge again I will leave comments religiously for those who took the time to comment on mine. I am more of a serial killer, Nascar type of message board user, sorry! You guys always seem to be pretty comfortable discussing stuff amonst the "regulars" and sometimes it feels like someone not a "regular" would be intruding. Just my opinion. I do read sometimes like today and this made me feel even more like an outsider.Just a post and run, photobucket type of gal!
I have to tell you something Carefree. I have never EVER felt like an outsider here. Myself and a few other gals migrated over from another board and these ladies were so welcoming you could have knocked me over with a feather! These are the most wonderful, non-dramatic, friendly ladies you will ever meet. They welcome everyone and treat each member the same whether they have one post or a 10,000 posts.I'm sorry you've felt like an outsider, I don't know what happened, but I encourage you to give this board another shot. You will not meet a better bunch of gals than the ones who reside here.I'm sorry I offended you. That was not my intention.

You guys always seem to be pretty comfortable discussing stuff amonst the "regulars" and sometimes it feels like someone not a "regular" would be intruding. Yeah, see, we were ALL, every single one of us, new once upon a time. ACOT is a very friendly and welcoming place. If you want evidence of that, check out any time anyone posts a "hi I'm new" type thread....or even post one yourself! Not that it's a requirement, but I guarantee you'll get many, many welcomes! We always like to see new people. While I'm sorry if it offended you or anyone else, I stand by my "Photobucketers" statement. If you're entering challenges or contests, that's awesome, but a lot of people with 0 posts just use the gallery to post random layouts. The reason I've heard most often for that is "so they can share with family." That's what Photobucket or other similar sites are used for.
Yah know, this thread did kind of bother me because I have all of three posts and two layouts posted. It seemed like you were all talking about me. I guess this thread just made me feel like I was using the challenges and gallery and not living up to what was expected. I really liked the two challenges I did last month and was going to look at the challenges for this month. Thanks for clarifying what you were talking about Moody with the photobucket comment. If only I could get my family to look online at my stuff. ICanHasCherryOnTop I think I might use Post and Runner as a signature from now on if I can figure out how to get it there. Sorry if I offended anyone, I just didn't like feeling like you were all picking on me. (Gonna go and eat a worm now)
Don't worry. We weren't picking on YOU.....there's plenty to go around. PS...welcome to the board!
Glad we cleared that up. There are some people who have like 50 lo's and no posts. Those are the people we were referring to really. If you're just joining the board...you wouldn't have a lot of posts yet, kwim? If you want to put that in your siggy....go to "My Account" in the top right hand corner of this page. Then scroll down and click on "Change My Profile". There are two lines for a siggy. This site doesn't do blinkies though.

I makes me feel Absolutly Great when i get praise so I like to leave it for others in hopes I'll get some in return.
