Here are a few dh loves...I don't know if kids would love them, or not, but they are economical:

Oven Chicken Tacos

Pulled Pork Bowls or Chicken (like Chipotle)

Crockpot Thai Chicken Pasta

Gail's Crockpot Chicken (I got this one off the internet and I believe the recipe is here in this forum. DH says it tastes like a fancy restaurant...lol)

Monterey Chicken (like Applebee's)

Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps (think that one's recipe is in this forum, too.)

We like Chicken Fajita Bake. Easy. Put it together. Put in oven and bakes itself. Always moist and tasty.  Can find on Pintrest.

Stove Top Meatloaf... Super easy and so good:

1 1/2 lbs Ground beef (I use 1/2 beef and pork)
2 Eggs
1 (6 ounce) box Stove top stuffing mix - any flavor works for this but Pork is my favorite
1/2 cup Water

Mix all above ingredients and form in loaf
add the below over the top (if desired)
1/3 cup Ketchup

bake at 350 for an hour

Last crop i went to the firehouse ladies put meatballs (frozen or homemade) into jumbo shells, poured sauce on them and Mozzarella on top and baked 45 minutes with tin foil on top. Awesome!

My gang likes me to make Bisquick dough for biscuits, and roll out. Then put sloppy Joe's meat/sauce over it and roll like a jelly roll. Slice them into spiral biscuits. Pour a can of baked beans in a baking dish and put the spiral rolls on top. Bake 350 until the look done. Usually about 45 minutes to an hour.
