Re: Scrap a Day, June 6th
Hey Cherries. Taking Twinkie to the vet this morning to have her stitches removed. I’m really glad we have an appointment today because she did not eat much of her food this morning and that has me worried. When a lab doesn’t eat alarms go off. It was the first sign that my Cider was sick. But she ...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
I got a call early this morning from a friend/neighbor who told me that backflow inspector would be at our house in an hour. Because we have water sprinklers installed in our house, they have to be inspected on a regular basis. Thank goodness we passed, he was very nice, and his price was very reaso...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
Hello cherries! What.A.Day. So I started the day with throwing the sheets in the washer and having the electrical inspector scheduled between 8am and noon today. I figured I'd work until I got notification that he was on the way, and then I'd put the girls in my office so the inspector can do his t...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
I took the morning to do a little retail therapy. It's been a minute since I've been out and about so it was much needed. Hit up Target, Marshall's and Dick's Sporting Goods. The grand kids are always on my shopping list and I think I spent most of my money on them! No worries though because I ...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
Hotter today than yesterday. A few errands. I did walk last night around 8pm so at least got that in. Fortunately dropping back to more average temps tomorrow throughout the weekend but more 100’s forecast next week. Oh well! Have a less than woeful Wednesday Yikes - temps in the 100's!! Stay cool.

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
This appears so little compared to what some of you have been dealing with, but, here goes. My DH and I received a text last night giving us 30 days notice to find a new place to board our horses. I was shocked. I bawled like a baby, not just because this will be difficult, but because it was out...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
Same old routine out here. Iced the knee x 2. Did my homework exercises. Made some breakfast. Now I get to sit and sit and sit. Wind still blowing and it is warming up. Told dh we need to uncover our ac unit with temps into the 80’s in the next couple of days! Good to be prepared for those warm tem...

Hey Cherries!! ☺️ Lol I've been procraftinating! 😂 I have so MANY ideas and such a big mess! 😂 Mostly art journaling yesterday, but it did help my mood! It's been rainy here, perfect for arts and crafts! I'm looking forward to working on some challenges today. I LOVE how some challenges don't have ...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
Rainy here this morning. Last night DH and I were scared awake at about 1 am. Heard 3 loud thumps like somebody was pounding on the door. However, it didn't wake up puppy, so DH checked around the house and we went back to bed, thinking probably a tree limb fell on the roof. This morning, DH fou...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 5th
Hey Cherries. So I get my mom’s printer all set up yesterday and ended up having to pack it all back up. It printed fine, but luckily I tested making a copy. It printed out almost a full page of all black with a color stripe. I looked online and couldn’t find any instance of that happening then fin...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 4th
Just in from my torture treatment- PT. Now having some Shreddies to eat and icing my knee. Hurts like heck!! Another day of me and the couch. I like my couch, but not having to live on it day and night. Super windy today, gusts up to 60mph and higher closer to the mountains. Hope not too much damag...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 4th
I played Mahjong earlier than usual today since one of the ladies had PT at 2:30. I won one game and came close to two more games. No scrapping for me today but tomorrow DH is having lunch with some former co-workers. The only thing that bothers me is that they are meeting in New Jersey. I'll try to...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 4th
Ugh. Not even officially summer for 16 days yet. 81 at 10am already. Oh well lol. I’ll just deal with it. Not going to wish summer over already. At my age ya need to savor each day and not wish your life away! lol My friend that lives about 35 minutes away and hates to drive has figured out how she...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 4th
Hey Cherries 😊 It's been a little bit busy of a day but I'm gonna slow down and relax for a while now 😂 I've got the AC on and I'm gonna watch some Grey's soon. I've been working on some projects, starting small, and getting my thoughts in order I guess. I was turned down for my disability and need...
