Re: Cricut embossing?

I saw them at J's but didn't buy them. I think the deal is that you cut out the image on some kind of sticky back stock and then you stick the image into this folder. So it becomes a permanent but personal embossing folder for the CuttleBug.

Re: Please welcome - ta da - DD!

WAIT, you came TO Nebraska and didn't come and see me?? Or even try to meet up?? I had a chance to meet a cherry that I didn't know before I came here...and missed it???? Welcome to your daughter - maybe I'll get to meet her! It was definitely more of a "staycation". We hung around the ho...

Please welcome - ta da - DD!

Please welcome Stonecub, my DD. Yes, I am both her mother AND her enabler. She called me this morning to tell me that she joined ACOT! We just visited her in Nebraska where we went to the LSS as well as M's and J's and well, let's just say I 'enabled' a little more. Bought her a Cuttlebug and a bunc...

Re: Brain Droppings - Houston, we have a problem.

Let me hazard a guess here - you touch-type and he uses the two finger hunt and peck method? People who touch-type position their hands over the keyboard thus increasing the chances that they will accidentally brush against the keypad. Two finger typists do not.

Re: Brain Droppings - Houston, we have a problem.

Sounds like something that happens to me!!! I SWEAR this laptop hates me! Even typing something simple is sometimes a chore. I'll be typing along, I have to watch the keys a fair bit, so I'll look up and my cursor is back in the middle of the sentence and everything is shagged up. Or the last sente...

Re: Brain Droppings - Deliver Us from Weevils

I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Isn't it so sad how governments around the world have their priorities in a twist... One of my favorite expressions (among many) from England that I use all the time: "Things went completely pear-shaped." I could absolutely not believe how this molecu...

Re: I....want laughter! (Prize involved.....)

Hey girl - left two more Brain Droppings. Hope they give you a chuckle. Also sharing this: My daughter was sitting on a plane stranded on the tarmac for hours. Behind her sat a mother, a dad and a 4 year-old whose behavior, considering how long they had been sitting there, was pretty amazing. All of...

Re: Brain Droppings - Deliver Us from Weevils

Geez.... USDA will not shut down dirty filthy puppy mills that they have licensed or even fine them (they just write warnings) but they will track down and seize a little lemon tree! And now the Republicans have completely cut the kennel inspectors out of the budget. Don't get me started on the own...

Brain Droppings - Houston, we have a problem.

I recently bought my husband his own laptop. He uses it mainly for email and web research. It is a fairly simple, straightforward laptop. No bells, no whistles, pretty much what Staples had on sale. I have several computers in my home office but they are geared toward the kind of IT work I do. My o...

Re: Brain Droppings - Deliver Us from Weevils

All I have to say is that it's a good thing your first one checked out of it's own accord. which leads me to the question how did you acquire the first one? Let me guess you smuggled it? Poor little tree...but like they say when life hands you lemons....the " man" will take them away. :wi...

Re: Child Support woes....again!!

A lobotomy is only going to remove what is in his skull which I'm pretty sure is not where this wanker's brain is. One of these days he's going to discover that his kids have disowned HIM and that his actions have only brought them even closer to you. Maybe he will wake up one day and realize that h...

Re: Thoughts please... Currently in ER

Regarding the jittery feeling. I got that from Albuterol (rescue inhaler). When I was switched to Xopinex, that completely disappeared. Xopinex is more expensive however I am told that it is as effective as Albuterol but without the blood-pounding effects. I do not believe it is made in a form that ...

aWWW....YOUR poor lemon tree. I would have been a rebel and hid it in the closet and told the dude it croaked months ago! What I want to know is what they said to you when you called them!! As they say "no one expects the Spanish Inquisition". I had absolutely no idea that it would spiral...

Brain Droppings - Deliver Us from Weevils

OK – as always, I will begin with the back story. Many years ago, I had a little Meyer Lemon tree. It grew in a sunny corner of our family room and when it was filled with flowers, the wonderful spicy smell filled the room. Long story short, it died. Since then, I have wanted another. Fast forward ...

Re: It's 3 o'clock on a Friday and TIKI BAR is OPEN

Whine Alert: I have had wicked allergies for about a week and haven't done ANY scrapping in a long time. I'm sneezy and cranky. It just snowed and is cold, miserable and wet. It's 5:35 and I'm not done for the day. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play? I'll have what everyone els...

Re: A Visit from the Housekeeping Fairy

Please send her my way!!!!! I really need help. Recovering from knee surgery and housework do not jive. Although she must be wiped out after doing all that at your place :) Hold off on that because I might fire her. She left dirty dishes in the sink and forgot a few things at the grocery store. She...
