I received my Gypsy a few weeks ago and I love it!!! I use my Cricut much more frequently now that I have the Gypsy. I was having problems using CDS with Vista 64-bit...could never quite get it to function properly. No more, now that I have my Gypsy. Also, I love it's portability.

I think I read in their FAQ that the serial number of your gypsy is encoded onto your cartridge so that your Gypsy and cartridges are linked. The cartridges will continue to work on any Cricut machine, however they can't be loaded onto another Gypsy machine after it's been linked with yours. In the...
