On your keyboard, there is a button in the right corner, called prnt scrn. Press that when you are on the window/object you want a shot of. When you do that, it will place the image on the clip board. Then open a document in PSCS and paste it in.

Re: How many kids do you have?
I have two boys, ages 7 and 5. I'm always amazed at you ladies who have 3 or more. My two drive me nuts, though I love them to bits. I can't imagine having more. But then I had that thought when I had only 1 too.

An Oops and 2 New WordArts!
You know I just finished up two sets of WordArt. One is Spring Sprung and the other is Rain or Shine , and I think they are really awesome. But, you know I guess it's been too long since I've done WordArt, because I couldn't remember how many files I usually put in a set. Doh! I normally put in 7 fi...

Re: Camera Question
I prefer Canon but I think you'll be happy with either. I did try out a friend's Nikon Coolpix and really didn't like the color saturation of the pics. That could be something just with that model though.

I have SCAL and love it. You can use any font or dingbat with it. The best thing is you can also make your own cuts with Inkscape (free software). I use Photoshop to create my cuts, then convert it in Inkscape to a format SCAL can read. I use it all the time for my kids projects, cub scouts, and gif...

Bit of Spring Mini
Ready for spring? I am. Around here it's been snowing a ton and quite frigid outside. So yeah, you might say I'm ready for a little green and a little sunshine. In the meantime, I've pacified myself with this little kit, Bit of Spring. It's got 5 patterns (as well as two that have been recolored), 4...

Take a deep breath. I always feel like that when starting a new job. Is this your first job in while? Then it is even more daunting. You will be okay. You just have to be confident in your non-mom abilities. I'm sure you will do very well - sounds like you know what you are doing.

Re: parents - do you kids....
Both mine sit in boosters and they are 7 and 5. The seven year old is a bit on the small side. I look at it two ways. I don't want to get a ticket for not having them buckled in and I feel it is my responsibility to make sure they are as safe as possible, in the car and out of it. It's common sense ...

Well, I don't have teenagers yet. But she lives under your roof and she should follow your rules. But your rules, should also be fair, respective of her age and maturity level as well as her behavior. Sounds like you are being totally reasonable to me. Someday, she's going to realize that 18 is not,...

No I don't think they have to have the same opinion, but because he is a public figure and a public servant, her opinion, or her public portrayal of that opinion, is a reflection on him. That would be the case on any issue that may affect public policy. It sends a mixed message, right or wrong.

Re: saving photos from hard drive ???
Yes, you need to back them up to CD/DVD cause at some point your hard-drive will fail. Another option is online back-up like Carbonite. You definitely need a back-up though. Now that you mention it, so do I and it's about that time again.
