Re: Question of the day 9/15

It depends on the shoe. I'm usually anywhere between 7-1/2 to 8-/12 wide. Sneakers are usually on the smaller range, while dress shoes are in the higher sizes. Not only do I have wide feet, but I also have stubby little toes... really makes finding good shoes difficult at times!

Re: Which one would you kiss?

Well, I'd really prefer not to kiss a toad, but if you can guarantee I'll come out with a prince... :inlove:

Re: Question of the Day 9/15

I'm a registered voter in Canada. I vote in person, usually getting there early in the day when the lines are shorter. In Canada at least, employers are required by law to allow 3hrs paid leave to an employee so they may cast their ballot if they otherwise would not have at least three consecutive h...

Xyron 150

My mother forced me into accepting a Xyron 150 this weekend (my first real hobby, you see... she's over-excited and wants me to have every tool under the sun whether or not I even want/need it)... I'm having a problem however: we ran some small letters through it, but they seem to be overly gluey. T...

Re: What are your addictions? (beside s'book stuff)

Care Bears... no, really, it's ridiculous the number of Care Bears I have around here, and Care Bear accessories, Care Bear bedset, decor, computer games, DVDs, calendars... my room is overtaken by them, but I just can't stop! On a less disturbing front, my mother and I collectively collect Cherishe...

Re: Not sure what I'll do

What about a disposable camera? Sure, it's not the greatest, but it's certainly better than nothing :)

Re: A Funny for Friday

You'll be happy (or not) to know it isn't real... at least not until 2002 when somebody did it in their back yard, well after the story first began circulating:

Still, darn funny though lol

Re: It is not possible

Have you tried one of those vacuum storage bags?
Don't laugh, I'm serious! The medium one I bought fit a whole buttload of 80's humungo-shoulderpad office clothing. Might be the answer to your packing woes... just, make sure the stronger half caries it, they're small, but very heavy :)

Re: Question of the day 9/11

It was really early (BC, Canada) and my mother was trying to wake me up, yelling, "oh my god! You have to come see this! No way! No. Oh my goodness"... I refused to get out of bed. When I did wake up, I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought she was overexaggerating until I finally woke up an...

Re: SO what I want to know is....

Of course! Some people get extreme pleasure out of it. Some do it because of their own insecurities (eg. bullies are often the victims of bullying themselves), some do it to get attention that they'd otherwise not get (negative attention is better than no attention at all), and others do it because ...

Re: Bad mom???

Bad mom? I think that makes you an awesome mom! I have a friend on another forum that helped die her son's hair blue, and when it didn't take, went out and bought another brand to try again. For most mothers, that would be a Very Big Deal, but as she saw it, it's just hair... it'll grow back, and it...

Re: How do you decorate for the holidays????

My mother and I are very jumbled, and go *just a tad* overboard. We decorate anything and everything, but there's no real theme... it ends up looking intentional, but it really isn't. The living room tree is filled with sentimental ornaments, my bedroom tree is filled with small wooden ornaments and...
